Accessibility
Last updated September 28, 2026
We want every student to be able to study with Entity AI, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, voice control, zoom or other assistive technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA, and we fix problems as we find them.
What works today
- Keyboard: buttons, menus and dialogs can be used with a keyboard, and the control you are on has a visible outline.
- Screen readers: buttons and controls have text labels, and new answers and status messages are announced as they appear. The iPhone app shows the same pages, so VoiceOver works there too.
- Zoom and small screens: you can zoom in (pinch-zoom is never turned off), and every screen is built to work at phone width.
- Light and dark: choose Light, Dark or System under Appearance in Settings.
- Less motion: when your device is set to reduce motion, Entity AI turns its animations down.
- Voice and listening: you can dictate instead of typing, talk with Entity AI out loud, and have answers read to you with the words highlighted as they are read.
- Text versions: recordings and videos you use can be turned into text, and you can ask Entity AI to explain any picture, chart or graph in words.
Known gaps
- Entity AI has not yet been checked by an outside accessibility expert.
- Some games, drawing and handwriting tools need a mouse or a touch screen.
- Pictures, charts and graphs that Entity AI makes don't always come with a full text description. Ask Entity AI to describe one and it will.
- Some older screens may still have text that is too faint or controls that are hard to reach with a keyboard.
- Screen Assistant and the camera work by looking at what is on your screen or in front of your camera.
- Pages run by other companies - like Stripe's payment page and Google's or Apple's sign-in - are made accessible by those companies.
Tell us about a problem
If something in Entity AI is hard or impossible to use with the way you use your device, email support@entityai.dev. Tell us which page or feature, what you were trying to do, and your device, browser and any assistive technology you use. We read every report, and we'll tell you what we can fix and help you another way in the meantime.
